Shipping Policy

Delivery timeline

Orders are dispatched within 48 hours of confirmation. Once dispatched, delivery takes 5–7 working days across India. Working days exclude Saturdays, Sundays and public holidays.

Orders placed after 4:00 PM IST are processed the next working day. Remote PIN codes and the North East may take 2–3 additional working days.

Shipping charges

• Orders of ₹1,500 and above — free shipping
• Orders below ₹1,500 — flat ₹99

Cash on delivery

COD is available across serviceable PIN codes at no extra charge. We send a confirmation link by email after you place a COD order, and dispatch only once you confirm — this keeps fraudulent orders down and our prices low.

Tracking

A tracking link is emailed as soon as your parcel leaves our facility. If it hasn’t arrived within the estimated window, write to hey@theunnecessary.co and we’ll chase it for you.

Undelivered parcels

Couriers attempt delivery up to three times. If all attempts fail or the parcel is refused, it returns to us and we will contact you to arrange a re-ship or refund.
